A320 - 200 Full Flight Simulator (FFS)

The simulator is equipped with 200x40 degrees visual system with LCoS projectors the latest technology in visual scenes.

The visual system CAT 1, 2, & 3 day, dusk, night, dawn and environment hail, rain, thunder storms, snow fall, snow blow and sand blow effects are very well presented.
 


The fidelity and accuracy of simulation is such that the visual system can be used through out the simulated flight envelope with optimum training efficiency, particularly during taxing, take off, low altitude flight, approach and landing.

A320 THALES Formation System Trainer (TFST)
Autopilot Type: Sperry Sp-50 FLT control

A320 THALES Formation System Trainer (TFST) is designed and manufactured in accordance with Airbus approved data to meet the training requirements as defined by Airbus.

The TFST is a class room system trainer that uses LCD touch screens to display cockpit panels of the simulated A320 Aircraft.

The A320-200 TFST 1.4 STD supports:

Q Predictive Windshear and Windshear phenomenon:

Ten (10) FlightSafety pre-defined and any additional Customer-defined windshear profiles will be provided, including the ability to model Low Level Wind Shear.

         -  Models one through four will be generic windshear training models   developed for the Federal Aviation Administration which provide a gradual introduction to the windshear environment.

         -  Models five through ten will be those defined in FAA Advisory Circular  120-41 “Criteria for Operational Approval of Airborne Wind Shear Alerting and Flight Guidance Systems.”

         -  All windshear models are developed in the longitudinal, lateral, and vertical wind components. The velocities vary in each component depending on the Aircraft position within the windshear area and the model selected.
