History

A non-stop simulating flying experience that took-off over 30 years ago

 

Born in the 1970's to one of the oldest airline businesses in the region, Royal Jordanian, we acquired our wings of steel that allowed us to cut through time and rise to the advanced level we are at now, at a very early age. Like all young children we started practicing our skills at home by providing training for Royal Jordanian on the B707 and B727 simulators

However, growing up is inevitable, and the desire to venture into the wide world grew stronger. Therefore, we set out on a journey to make ourselves known worldwide and leave our mark on aviation training and learning.

To establish our identity we moved out to our own JATS training facilities in Amman; one at Queen Alia International Airport and one at Amman Civil Airport. The kind of environment we sought to create in our training centres is that of diversity and continuous interaction between instructors and trainees. Our aim is to build a long-term prosperous training relationship with each customer by providing cost-effective,
world-class quality training solutions that exceed their expectations and needs.

By the early 1990's we managed to achieve most of the goals we had set for ourselves, and our customers. We had successfully positioned ourselves as the leading training service provider for air transportation in the region and beyond.

JATS extensive training facilities now combine Airbus and Boeing simulators, which provide complete training packages that offer a wide range of simulator and classroom based instruction for cockpit crews, cabin crews and airline staff from the international airline community. We are proud to say that our highly specialised staff and facilities have provided training for over 3500 trainees annually since our early beginnings.

However, we do not look at what we achieved so far as the last horizon that we will be flying into. For time flies, the world changes and competition rises.
To be responsive to our clients' needs in a world that demands more every day, we never lose sight of the fact that there is always more learning for us to do to be able to serve you better.
