Visit of the British Ambassador to JATS

Amman, Jordan – On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Jordan Airline Training and Simulation (JATS) had the honor of hosting His Excellency Mr. Philip Hall, the British Ambassador to Jordan. The visit aimed to strengthen the partnership and explore collaborative opportunities between JATS and the UK's aviation sector.

The visit, was arranged by L3Harris by Regional Director Mr. Zuhair Mattar, provided an opportunity to brief His Excellency on JATS' training facilities, which cater for pilots, cabin crew, dispatchers, and aircraft maintenance engineers and technicians. Additionally, the A320 Simulator, manufactured and updated to STD.2.0 CEO standards by L3Harris, was showcased.

His Excellency Mr. Philip Hall, along with Mr. Ben Swann, L3Harris Training Systems GM, were warmly welcomed by Mr. Samer Majali, Vice Chairman of the Board/CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines, JATS Board of Directors, and Capt. Zaid Kalbouneh, JATS General Manager.

Presentations were delivered by Mr. Samer Majali and Mr. Ben Swann, highlighting the strong partnership between L3Harris and JATS at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). The collaboration aims to provide top-tier services across the region, positioning Jordan as a competitive economic hub for the next generation of aviation professionals and services.

Following the presentations, His Excellency was given a tour of the JATS facilities and Training Devices.
