Jordan Airline Training & Simulation JATS proudly announces its milestone achievement as 147 organization to offer the comprehensive "E2 - Embraer 190 (PW1900G) B1/B2 Type Rating Course" in the country and the Middle East region, Led by esteemed instructors Eng. Ahmad Fayyadh and Eng. Atef Abu Sahyoun Al-Bishtawi. This accredited course is approved by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The course, which includes both theoretical and practical training, was conducted for a total of 25 aircraft maintenance engineers and technicians from a range of countries and various backgrounds, including Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ).

The theoretical portion of the course, which began on February 4, 2025, and continued until March 5, 2025, is designed to ensure participants are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain and service the state-of-the-art E2 - Embraer 190 aircraft.

The practical training phase followed the theoretical course, with two practical groups scheduled. The first hands-on group starting on March 6, 2025, and the second group scheduled to begin on March 18, 2025. Each practical training will span ten working days, ensuring participants gain valuable experience.
